Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement, is the holiest of Holy Days in the Jewish Calenar. It occurs 10 days after Rosh Hashanah, but instead of celebrating, it's a time for atoning and repenting for one's sins. The day is set aside for prayer and a 24-hour fast. The fast is broken with a light meal, and bagels and cream cheese are often as much a tradition of the evening as of the holiday itself. Bake mini bagels lightly flavored with honey and marbled with cinnamon and nutmeg. Serve them with a dish of honey for dipping.
